Case Study Collection on Fluoride Insolubilization Treatment of Gypsum by Pure Tech Co., Ltd.
Fluorine in dihydrate gypsum and hemihydrate gypsum can be rendered insoluble simply by stirring with a fluorine insolubilizing agent!
This catalog is a collection of case studies featuring our company's "Fluorine Immobilization Treatment of Gypsum," which has been researched for a long time by the Gypsum Board Recycling Research Association, focusing on the solidification of dihydrate gypsum and hemihydrate gypsum, as well as the immobilization of fluorine. We have conducted various leaching tests of fluorine using different immobilizing agents, but none have met environmental standards, particularly as dihydrate gypsum tends to be more difficult to immobilize than hemihydrate gypsum. However, by adding a small amount of the powdered fluorine immobilizing agent Super Magnecloze to dihydrate gypsum and stirring for just five minutes, we were able to achieve results that completely fell below the environmental standards in the fluorine leaching test. The process, along with examples of "Fluorine Removal" and the "FSC Method," is also included.
